Peace-makers identified Georgian servicemen intruding to South Osetia
On Wednesday evening sub-units of third infantry brigade of Georgian army were transferred from Gory to South Osetin village Eredvi.
This was announced in headquarters of Combined forces for peace keeping in zone of Georgian-Osetin conflict.
"Subunits of third infantry brigade of Georgian army were transferred to suburbs of Eredvi village in 10 "KamAZ" lorries. These automobiles have arrived to Eredvi at 20:20. At 21:35 part of servicemen lorries returned back in 6 KamAZ lorries to Gory and group remained in Eredvi. At the same moment Russian peace-makers didn`t send any additional forces to Eredvi area", - informed the chief of headquarters Rem Akimov.
Information that 10 KamAZ lorries with 250 Georgian servicemen were concentrating near Eredvi village was disseminated yesterday by head of South Osetin committee of information and press Irina Gagloeva. Later this data was supported by Russian Ministry of Defense. At the same moment a representative of the agency has emphasized that entering of Georgian armed forces to conflict zone violates Dagomys agreement dated by 1992.
Later on Georgian minister on conflict regulation Georgy Khaindrava has announced that "Georgian peace-makers were passing by the village". According to next announcement of Georgian side there are no Georgian servicemen near Eredvi village.
