Russia disagrees with USA on election of new UNO general secretary
Russia supposes that representative of Asian country should succeed to Kofi Annan on post of UNO general secretary.
This was announced by Russian Ambassador in UNO Andrei Denisov. From its turn USA insists that a human from any part of the world may pretend to post of general secretary.
Denisov has also renounced the suggestion of USA Ambassador in UNO John Bolton to finish selection of candidates for position of general secretary by midyear. Term of Annnan`s office is up on December 31. Russia considers he should work for whole term.
