Novosibirsk Muslims decides to boycott Danish goods because of prophet Mohammed cartoons, says mosque imam
Muslims of Novosibirsk have decided to join the boycott of Danish goods, set up by their coreligionists in the Middle East in reply to publishing cartoons with prophet Mohammed in Danish newspaper.
Imam-hatyb of Novosibirsk mosque Nakib Shakirzyanov said, that the decision to avoid buying Danish goods had been the initiative of parishioners of the mosque.
"They came and said: they are showing the prophet Mohammed caricatures on TV, mocking at our religion and we are doing nothing", said Shakirzyanov.
