"Italian" nominated for "Oscar"
The movie of Andrey Kravchuk "Italian" was nominated for the movie festival "Oscar".
At the meeting concerning the movie festival there were three choices: "Space as presentment" by Alexey Uchitel, "Ours" by Dmitry Meshiev, "Italian" by Andrey Kravchuk. In the end "Italian" was chosen. 7 votes out of 11 were given for the movie.
"Italian" is the first full-length film of Kravchuk.
The movie "Italian" is about an Italian family which comes to the russian children home to adopt a child. 6 years old Vanya appeals to the Italian family. The boy lives happily in Italy but suddenly he decides to find his own mother.
