RABIN Oscar

1928, Moscow. Painting began to learn from the artist and the poet Yevgeny Kropivnitskogo. From 1946 to 1948 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Riga. He studied at the Moscow State Art Institute. VI. Surikov. Until 1964 he lived in the village Lianozovo, which has developed around "Lianozovo group of artists, writers and poets - nonconformist. During speeches in defense of freedom of creativity Rabin has repeatedly been subjected to harassment, in 1978 - deprived of his Soviet citizenship. He currently lives and works in Paris. The works are in museums and private collections in England, Norway, France, Austria, USA and Russia.
