Georgia returns detained automobiles to Russian peace-makers
Detained by Georgian police automobiles of Russian peace-makers were released today and left to Tsinvali. This was informed by head of military police of Georgian Defense Ministry Alexander Sukhitashvili.
"The cause of automobiles` arrest laid in improperly completed documents and presence of strangers in the vehicles", - said Sukhitashvili.
Earlier the commander assistant of Combined Forces on peace maintenance in zone of Georgian-Osetin conflict, colonel Nikolai Baranov informed that 2 peace-makers` lorries with food freight were detained by Georgian side on Monday evening. "The police made passengers get out of the car and drove captured automobiles away to Gory town", - informed Baranov.
By information of Georgian side, one car had no log book and another lorry had no authorization to drive along Georgian territory. By words of Sukhitashvili, Osetin servicemen were driving the cars with "flour of unknown origination and 200 kg of salt".
