Fradkov opened Kola Bay bridge
It took 12 years to build the bridge over the Kola Bay.
In October, 11, 2005 the ceremony of the opening took place. The prime-minister of Russia Mikhail Fradkov took part in the ceremony.
The prime-minister emphasized that the bridge is very important from the economical and social side. Now it will be much easier to reach some areas of the Murmansk region. Besides, in Fradkov?s opinion the bridge will help to widen cooperation with Finland and Norway.
The whole length of the bridge is 2,5 km, and its upperworks is 1,6 km.
