North Fleet ships to return to Mediterranean after ten-year break
For the first time after a ten-year break the North Fleet ships will represent Andreyevsky flag in the Mediterranean.
"The objectives set for the Fleet in 2006 are more important than in last year. It is important to note, that the North Fleet returns to the Mediterranean sea after a ten-year break. Just time after time by now, but it is still a return", stated the North Fleet commander vice-admiral Vladimir Vysotsky.
Among the ships which are to be involved in ocean campaign, there is an aircraft-carrying cruiser "Admiral of Soviet Fleet Kuznetsov".
