Fradkov to increase profitability of coal industry
Russian premier-minister Mikhail Fradkov considers that coal industry should take deserved place in fuel-energy balance of Russia.
Fradkov noted that Russian coal production in 2005 increased by 15 million tons comparing with previous year reaching 300 million tons. 80 million tons were exported. Fradkov emphasized the necessity of development of this industry, including sphere of railway tariffs, sea shipping and support of Russian companies abroad.
Fradkov visited constructing "South" coal mine and coal seam "Chernigovez" in Kemerov oblast on Saturday. The premier-minister has emphasized the necessity of coal industry profitability.
