UNO general secretary appreciates Russian efforts on Iranian problem regulation
General secretary of UNO Kofi Annan appreciates Russian efforts on conflict around Iranian nuclear program settlement.
Annan has welcomed Teheran decision to send delegation for discussion of mutual enterprise for uranium enrichment construction. The meeting will take place on February 20 in Moscow. Kofi Annan has emphasized that "Russia as permanent member of Security Council makes an important contribution to negotiations".
General secretary hopes that Iran will use the chance given by Moscow negotiations to restore trust to its nuclear program.
Annan hopes that Iran will positively react to MAGATE resolution for guarantee of non-proliferation treaty in Islamic Republic.
"Governments supporting the regime of non-proliferation for personal and collective security should help to regulate the crisis", - was said in announcement.
Resolution of MAGATE manager`s Council has been approved in the beginning of February and demands Iran to stop any activity of uranium enrichment.
