Russian figure-skater Volchkova pulled out of Olympiad
Russian Victoria Volchkova pulled out of the Olympic figure-skating competitions.
The figure-skater should start out for Italy on February 18. But she refused from participation in Olympiad because of leg trauma. At present moment Volchkova stays in Moscow hospital.
Competitions of single women will start on February 21. The medals will be awarded on February 23.
Russian team should be represented by 3 figure-skaters but there will be no substitute for Volchkova, therefore only 2 Russian sportswomen will compete in Torino - Irina Slutskaya and Elena Sokolova.
