South Osetia kept battalion of Georgian peace-makers out of country
Osetin side didn`t let unscheduled rotation of Georgian peace-making battalion on territory of unrecognized South Osetin republic.
"We have warned Georgian side that we are against unscheduled rotation of peace-making battalion", - said chairman of informative and press commission over South Osetia Irina Glagoleva.
By her words, the rotation of Georgian peace-making battalion takes place in zone of conflict beyond the bounds of South Osetia. "The situation is calm but several roads are closed", - said Glagoleva.
As it was informed earlier by commander assistant of Combined forces on peace maintenance in zone of Georgian-Osetin conflict Nikolai Baranov, the rotation of Georgian contingent will be held on Sunday.
"During the day 208 peace-makers will be substituted by 285 soldiers", - said Baranov. He noted that part of Georgian peace-makers will be placed in Eredvi settlement and another part - in Kurta settlement.
Baranov specified that this is the second rotation for last 1.5 months. "During last year 6 rotations of Georgian peace-makers were realized", - said Baranov.
