Lithuania decided to deliver parts of the crashed fighter to Russia
Lithuania will deliver the parts of the fighter SU-27 that crashed 15 September on the Lithuanian territory, reported in Department of Public Communications of Ministry of Protection (Defense) of land of Lithuania.
General Office of Public Prosecutor delivered the parts of the fighter to Lithuanian Military Department on Tuesday.
By the information of Ministry of Protection of land of Lithuania, Military Department will begin the process of delivery of the parts of the fighter to the Russia after forming a list of parts and verification.
Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that it appreciated positively the decision to release the pilot of SU-27 Valerii Troyanov and expects that the parts of the fighter will be delivered to Russia in the near future.
"The conclusion of the Office of Public Prosecutor confirmed that Troyanov?s violation of Lithuanian airspace was unpremeditated", - mentioned in Ministry.
