Russia and Kazakhstan preparing to boundary demarcation
Russia and Kazakhstan will have to start the work on state boundary demarcation.
"Now, when the boundaries are set on the map, we have to set them in reality. We need to demarcate the boundary, i.e. to define it on place", the Russian Federation Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador-at-large Vladimir Volkov, who arrived with working visit to Altai region.
According to him, to fulfill demarcation the bilateral Russian- Kazakhstan demarcation commission will be established, on the side of Russia the representatives of all 11 Russian cross-border regions will participate.
Volkov also noted, that the boundary between Russia and Kazakhstan exceeds 7,5 thousand km. It is the longest land frontier in the world.
