Citizen of Russia Alimbekova won gold at the Championships race walk 20 km
MOSCOW, 14 Aug - R-Sport. Citizen of Russia Elmira Alimbekova became the winner of the competition race walk 20 kilometers at the European Championships in athletics, held in Zurich, Switzerland.
Citizen of Russia overcame the distance in 1 hour 27 minutes 56 seconds. Winner of the silver medal was the Ukrainian Lyudmila Ulyanovskaya - 1: 28. 07. Third place went to Czech Agnes Drahotova - 1: 28. 08.
Another emissary to Russia's Vera Sokolova finished fourth in 1: 28. 24.
The championship will End on August 17.
