Less meat and milk in Russia
Russia has limited import of meat and milk from some regions of Mongolia in the view of foot-and-mouth disease among animals.
In particular, from Tuesday, October 11, brought in temporary limitations on import from Eastern, Suhe-Batorsk and Hentei regions of Mongolia to Russia. These limitations refer to following products: animals, meat of all kinds, milk and milk products including cooked goods, cattle-breeding fodder, used equipment for animal maintenance and slaughter.
This measure was taken in the view of real threat of foot-and-mouth disease bringing to Russian territory.
