Hague tribunal disclaimed responsibility for Milosevic death
International tribunal on ex-Yugoslavia denied accusations in the view of death of Yugoslavian ex-president Slobodan Milosevic.
By words of tribunal representative Christian Cartier, the court takes maximum care of the accused. "We can not be accused of negligence", - he said.
Milosevic often complained about problems with heart and high pressure. He asked for treatment in Moscow but his request was denied.
The brother of Yugoslavian ex-president Borislav Milosevic and deputies of Russian State Duma hurled accusations in address of the tribunal.
Vice-speaker of Russian parliament Vladimir Zhirinovsky promised that State Duma will adopt a resolution about prosecution of tribunal judges, who refused Milosevic request for treatment. Deputies will demand abolishment of the tribunal. Zhirinovsky is confident that tribunal has no legal status.
Deputy of State Duma Sergey Baburin accused tribunal in rude violation of human rights. "This disgraceful phenomenon should be closed and all accused should stand before national trials".
Milosevic was found dead in prison cell of Hague tribunal on Saturday. According to tribunal statement, Milosevic died in bed. The guard called for doctor, who verified the death. Dutch police participate in investigation of Milosevic death. Postmortem examination and toxicological expertise are prescribed.
