Election fraud revealed in Nizhniy Novgorod region
By data of electoral commission of Nizhniy Novgorod region, the 20 percent barrier for pronunciation of election to regional parliament valid is almost cleared.
By 14:00 19.7% of electors voted in Nizhniy Novgorod town and 17.6% - over the region. 3 complaints about legislation violation were received by regional electoral commission.
One candidate lodged a complaint that strangers distributed propaganda leaflets from his name when agitation was prohibited. In another case cheap salt was sold in front of a polling station. Meanwhile, Nizhniy Novgorod communists reported about bribery of voters in Balakhin district of the region and in Nizhniy Novgorod, where citizens are paid 100 rubles for
participation in election.
