Engine of Russian ship fails in Ireland Sea
Shore service of North Ireland attempts to tow Russian dry-cargo ship, which engine failed in adverse weather on Sunday, to Belfast port.
Russian ship of 1.5 thousand tons displacement and crew of 6 people drifts in Ireland Sea. The ship with steel freight headed to Kolrein port.
The rescue operation will be realized by towboat and several rescue motor boats.
"Weather is rather adverse in the region. Nevertheless, there is no ground for serious concern, - said representative of Belfast seashore service Lorenz Kamming. - We intend to tow the ship to Belfast Loch bay, where other towboats would help". By Kamming words, rescue operation will last for 4-5 hours.
