Track and field world championship crowns with victory of Russian team
Female Russian team has won last medal of world championship for indoor track and field athletics, which ended in Moscow tonight. Tatyana Levina, Natalia Nazarova, Olesya Krasnomovez and Natalia Antukh became world champions in 4x400 meter relay race. USA team became silver medallist and Belarus team won bronze.
Moscow world championship has ended with this kind of program. Russian team has fulfilled the plan for 18 medals. There are 8 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze awards on the credit side of Russia. USA team has 13 medals - 7 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze. Sportsmen of Ethiopia and Ukraine with 2 gold medals shared third place in unofficial final rank of world championship.
