Press-secretary of Abramovich commented Sibneft sale
The sale of Sibneft must not be considered as an attempt of Roman Abramovich to take money from Russia. That was announced by press-secretary of the businessman John Mann.
Commenting the declared a day before sale of Russian businessman`s part in petroleum company Sibneft to Gasprom, editorial reminds that this deal the total amount of which can be estimated as 13 milliards of dollars is "the biggest in the history of its business".
"The magnate is so wealthy that he can buy "Arsenal", Manchester United", "Liverpool" and all other football clubs of Great Britain", - writes Sun.
The newspaper stated that "with this deal 38-year old Abramovich completed the transformation of all his holdings in real money and now he can take them out of country".
But John Mann in his interview to newspaper denied those assumptions. He said that there are no plans "to pump over funds received from that deal into club "Chelsea".
Mann also didn?t want this sale of Sibneft to be interpreted as "mechanism of taking money from Russia".
"Abramovich remains the governor of Chukot, he is interested in various charitable projects, and perhaps, he will make new investments inside Russia", - said press-secretary.
