Media: national Bank of Ukraine celebrates the defeat of the Russian army near Orsha
The national Bank of Ukraine issued a coin five hryvnia in honor of the hundred anniversary of the defeat of the Russian army in the battle of Orsha, notified by the national Bank.
in a published message reported that the coin is dedicated to the victory of the army of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania over the army of the Russian Federation.
on the reverse of the coin depicts the composition of the battle and placed the phrase " Battle under the Orsha " (the Battle of Orsha) and " five hundred roku " (500 years).
on the obverse of the coin features a composition of 4 swords, above which depicts the national emblem of Ukraine, " Ukraine " (Ukraine) and the year of minting coins 2014.
on the official Internet representation of the national Bank also says that the coin will be issued fifteen October 2014.
The battle of Orsha (8 September 1514) is one of the battles during the Russo-Lithuanian war (1512-1522). Participated in the battle of 12 thousand people on each side.
