The Verkhovna Rada has approved the appointment of commander of the national guard under the Minister of defence
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine upon recommendation of the President of Petro Poroshenko has appointed Stepan Poltorak Minister of defense of the Republic. The candidacy of Poltorak made the head of the country, the meeting was supported by 245 people's deputies.
