Fedor Bondarchuk "9th company" appeared in cinema
A debut full-length film "9th company" by Fedor Bondarchuk appeared in Russian cinemas. In interview the producer has said that he prepared this film for 6 years: in the beginning "polished" scenario, then looked for money. The amount of money put into the film is enormous: 9 millions of dollars. The most expensive scene was the episode of airplane explosion on the military aerodrome Bagram. A film was made in Crimea, Usbekistan and near Moscow.
This is the story of young soldiers who are in the centre of military actions at the end of Afghanistan war in 1988. By words of Fedor Bondarchuk, scenario to that film "is 60% based on real events".
Bondarchuk has chosen Urii Korotkov as the author of scenario. He is famous be films "Americanka" and "The country of deaf". The music was composed by Dato Evgenidze. The head operato - Maksim Osadchii ("The triumph", "The president and his granddaughter").
The main actors are young actors: Atrur Smolyaninov, Alexei Chadov, Ivan Korkin, Artem Michalkov and others. Among the famous actors one can name Michael Porechenkov, Michael Efremov, Alexei Kravchenko, Stanislav Govoruhin and Fedor Bondarchuk himself.
