Born in Moscow. In 1971 graduated from the Drama Dept., State Institute of Cinematography (workshop C. Gerasimov and T. Makarova), in 1975 - the director's Dept., State Institute of Cinematography (by the same masters). The actress, director and co-writer for most of his films.
Winner of the All-Union Film Festival in the category 'award among children's films for 1986
Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1977).
