The EU will allocate Georgia grant of ? 30 million for economic and social programs
The European Union will give Georgia a grant of 30 million euros, according to the financial agreement, which was signed in Brussels on Tuesday, the head of the government of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili and European Commissioner for European neighbourhood policy and the negotiations on the extension Johannes Hahn (Johannes Hahn).
" The purpose of the grant is to support the strategy of regional development of Georgia and the implementation of economic programmes and social support programs in the regions, " the Agency reports referring to the press service of Prime Minister of Georgia.
