Chili pepper helps to sleep
Chili pepper has a good influence on sleep and its regular use can help people who have difficulties with falling asleep. This efficiency of pepper on quality and quantity of sleep was discovered during investigation by scientific group from Tasman University.
During 18 months scientists observed effects of chili pepper on health of 10 volunteers. Half of group ate 15 grams of burning pepper, the rest participants refrained. At the end of experiment scientists compared and analyzed obtained results.
As professor of Biological Sciences Institute Dominik Jerati noticed, results were quite encouraging. "We found out that use of chili can sufficiently improve sleep and, therefore, positively influences on cardiovascular system. At the same time chili doesn`t effect insulin and glucose content in blood".
Scientists think that investigation results will favor usage of chili in human ration.
