Skinheads attacked Muslim chapel in Sergiev-Posad
On Saturday the head of mufti Committee press-service Radik Amirov reported that group of skinheads attacked Muslims in chapel in Sergiev-Posad which is near Moscow.
"After Friday prayer on October 14 group of skinhead young men 8-10 people in number rushed into the only Sergiev-Posad chapel with armature, shovels and bricks in their hands, - he said. - Skinheads beat parishioners and the member of Religious Muslim of European Russian part administration Arslan Sadriev".
Arrived police arrested assaulters. "It was established that they were under alcoholic intoxication. Instituted legal proceedings", - informed Amirov.
Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin expressed "indignation about threats and these actions against residents of our country who practice Islam religion". "Law machinery must punish young men for their deeds", - he pointed out.
