Chinese cosmonauts conducted experiments in space
On Thursday Chinese cosmonauts conducted series of experiments on orbit. Crew of second in Chinese history piloted spacecraft "Shenchzhou-6" - Fei Junlong and Nie Haisheng - tested systems of spaceship. In particular, they opened and closed interior door into cabin, examined its impermeability, being in returnable module took their space-suit off.
On 20-th turn around Earth cosmonauts moved three times between orbit and returnable modules of the ship. Also system which provides water condensation was examined.
During all experiments Fei and Nie increased power of their motions to test stability of spacecraft.
By words of flight control centre these experiments almost didn`t effect "Shenchzhou-6" operation and a present time there is no need to correct parameters of flight.
"Shenchzhou-6" which made 23 turns around Earth by 19:00 by local time functionate in regular regime.
After 36 hours of flight medical characteristics of cosmonauts including pressure and temperature stay in norm.
As the head of medical monitoring doctor Li Yongzhi said, cosmonauts ate 4 times and 1 time slept by turns. Fei Junlong slept 7 hours and 8 minutes on Thursday night. Nie Haisheng slept on Thursday first part of the day also a little more than 7 hours.
"Crew is in excellent mood", - said doctor.
"Shenchzhou-6" started on Wednesday in 9:00 from "Jiuquan" cosmodrome in Chinese north-western province Gansu.
