The judge acquitted Serdyukov
Former Russian defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov again failed to appear at the Tribunal for questioning in the case Evgenia Vasilyeva. The referee Tatiana vasyuchenko explained that the guilt of a witness to it.
The court session on the case of "Oboronservis" again failed to take place in full agreement with the requirements. This time again was not a witness in the case against the former Russian defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov. However, the adherents of the court was lenient to him and even spoke in his defense.
Judge Tatsiana vasyuchenko explained that he did not know, will there be a meeting, because not caused witnesses, even Serdyukov, according to RIA Novosti. This has influenced the court proceedings: it will be investigated the written materials of the case.
Anatoly Serdyukov acts as a witness in the case of "Oboronservis", the main defendant is the former head of the Department of property relations of the Ministry of defense of Russia Yevgeny Vasilyev. According to investigators, it has been a misunderstanding Serdyukov and implemented a number of objects of the military Department at a reduced cost.
Vasilev, the blame does not recognize, noting that all transactions with the property of the Ministry of defence was held under the directives of Serdyukov. Like whatsoever, the total damage caused by unlawful actions, estimated at more than 4 billion rubles.
Serdyukov was previously believed by the defendant in the criminal case on abuse of power, but was eventually pardoned. The head of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin said that investigators wanted to draw Anatoly Serdyukov to justice "in full", but in the scope of the investigations discovered in documents only 1 signed by the former Minister of defense.
