EC asks again to start deliveries in the Russian Federation livestock products
The European Commission asks the Rosselkhoznadzor again to start trading on the basis of certificate applicable to the EU, a number of animal products and food potatoes, informs the Rosselkhoznadzor.
The request is in writing, the acting head of the Directorate General for health and food safety EC Ladislav Miko.
Russia on August 7 year banned the import of some food items from countries that have imposed penalties on capital Russia: USA, EU, Canada, Australia and Norway. In the corresponding list includes beef, pork, poultry, seafood, vegetables, fruits, cheeses and dairy products, nuts.
The Commission offers two categories of items: specialities, selected dairy and meat products, traditional products, niche products, products with protected geographical indication, fat, offal, meat and similar products."
