"Saint-Gobain" put into operation a new plant Weber-Wetonit in Russia
<em>February 4, 2015 the company "Saint-Gobain is the world's largest manufacturer of innovative and high quality building materials - opened in Russia's third plant for the production of dry building mixtures WEBER-VETONIT in Yegoryevsk, Moscow region.</em>
Total investment in the construction of the plant amounted to more than 500 million rubles. Designed and equipped in accordance with the latest technology, "Saint-Gobain" the plant will produce 120,000 tons of dry mixes annually. After reaching full production capacity, it will provide the city with more than 50 new jobs and additional jobs in the service sector.
The production aims to produce products based on cement. New capacity will strongly enhance the position of the WEBER-VETONIT in such market segments as adhesives, self-leveling floors and facades. In addition, the launch of the plant will allow to localize the production of a wide range of products that were previously imported from Europe, which is especially important for Russian customers, "Saint-Gobain" in the current economic situation.
