Demchyshyn: Russia, Ukraine and the EC have the opportunity in April to reach a common view on gas
Russia, Ukraine and the EC have the opportunity before April 1, to prepare a document, and the upcoming meeting on April 13-14 to reach formal agreement on gas supply to Ukraine, said the head of Ministry of energy of the country Vladimir Demchyshyn.
"From our side we believe that the need to make a formal request (for a discount on gas - ed.) we do not have. Will form a working group that would prepare legal documents, which will be performed principled consensus on the mechanism of payment and so on, " said the Ukrainian Minister of correspondents on the outcome of a tripartite gas negotiations.
"I think before 1 April Will definitely be prepared, it'll work for lawyers. Meeting at the Ministerial level Would most likely be closer to 13-14 April, and may, in Berlin, not in Brussels. I think that during the next meeting will be reached already formal consensus, " said Demchyshyn.
