Cherry Oleg

1934, Moscow region. He studied at the Moscow SHSH (1949-53), in Minsk Theater Institute (1954, excluded for the formalism), the Academy of Fine Arts in Leningrad (1955, excluded for the formalism), in the Leningrad Theater Institute (graduated in 1958). Member of Russian and foreign exhibitions since 1956. In 1977 he emigrated. Lives and works in Paris. Stylistically the work Tsalkova back to the traditions of Surrealism, naive art, the heritage of Russian avant-garde and Latin American monumental painting equally. Artist invents his own theater, which like the homunculus inflatable rubber dolls act out the script author's different scenes - funny, scary and tragic. Products are in SRM, St. Petersburg; Zimmerly Art Museum, New Jersey, USA, in public and private collections in Russia, the United States, France and Japan.
