Born in Moscow. He studied at the translation department of the Institute of Foreign Languages (1963-1965). He graduated from the Cinematography Institute (1969, Workshop B. Bibikova and O. Pyzhova). In 1963-1965 - singer Mosestrady, since 1969 - actor studio actor theater. Honored Artist of Russia (1992).
