Danilevsky Alexander Yakovlevich

In 1886. first showed the possibility of synthesis of protein-like substances with the participation of enzymes. They conducted extensive studies of casein protein tissue (muscle and brain protein) studied nitrogen and phosphorus metabolism in the animal organism, nutritive value of proteins of meat and fish and some plant foods.
