Biography Shestakov Yuriy
Born January 13, 1949 in the village Bogoslovka Kursk region. With seven years of living in Leningrad, where he graduated from school and physical-chemical department of the Leningrad Institute of. Lensoveta.
In 1986, Yuri Shestakov was the winner of the Leningrad Komsomol Prize in Literature. In 1988 he was admitted to the Union of Soviet Writers on the advice of poet Arseny Tarkovsky, Sergei Davydov, Leonid Ageeva and on the recommendation of All-Union Conference of Young Writers.
In 1993 he graduated from the Higher literary courses in Moscow.
The first book of poems SW. Shestakova released in 1983 - "In the beginning of the day" (Lenizdat).
Released in Moscow poetic book S. Shestakova "Waves of the earth" (Publishing Center "Young Russia", Moscow, 1992) was awarded the All-Russia Literary Prize. A. Fet (1997).
In 1998 published the book "Close the sky" (M. "Society for the Encouragement of Arts, 1998)
