DIAMOND Alexander

(born in 1859), spiritual writer, a graduate of the Kazan Theological Academy: is a professor of Novorossiysk on the faculty of the University of ecclesiastical law. A. Major Works: "The history of baptism and the rite of anointing" (Kazan, 1885, Master's thesis), "The Secret confession in the Orthodox Church" (t. I - III, Odessa, 1894, doctoral dissertation), "On the history of prayers for different occasions" (Odessa, 1896), "Professor N.F. Krasnosielc "(Odessa, 1898).
