Biography Wagner, Julius N.
son of Nikolai Petrovich Wagner. Born in 1865, graduated from the Physics and Mathematics of St. Petersburg University, worked at Solovetskaya, Sevastopol and the Naples zoological station, receiving a doctorate in zoology from 1898. to 1911. was a professor of zoology at the Kiev Polytechnic Institute. Scientific works of Wagner concerning the anatomy of invertebrates, and lately only the morphology and systematics Aphaniptera; in this field Wagner is considered one of the best. He published, among other things, "the history of rasscheplennonogih" and "Aphanipterologische Studien" (a series of monographs on fleas).
