Biography Julius Zarä?bski
(1854 - 1885). He studied at the St. Petersburg Conservatory, and then - in Liszt. Given concerts in Russia, played with great skill on the so-called "Piano Mangeot", with two keyboards. A great impression as a pianist and composer, he has made on a. Borodin met him in 1877. by Liszt in Weimar. He wrote exclusively for the piano Polish dances, mazurka, polonaise, ballads, etc.. One of the originality of his works - "Suite polonaise", . in which especially the last part of "Kujawiak" (Polish dance) differs not only a great virtuosity, . but the beauty of melodies, . daring harmonic devices, . brightness and consistency of the Polish national character, .
