Kochetov Joachim Semenovich

(1789 - 1854). At the end of the St. Petersburg Theological Academy, he taught in her civil, then the Bible and church history. While teaching, he has made on the basis of their sources, notes on the history of the Russian Church, on behalf of the Conference of the Academy corrected and revised the "Font Style of church history from biblical times to the XVIII century." Innocent. Since 1817, Mr.. taught at the Alexander Lyceum God's law, canon law, moral theology, logic and psychology (the latter two subjects - since 1849). He was a member of the Academy of Russia, then the Academy of Sciences. His main works: "feature of the teachings of the faith" (1823, 5 ed.) "On the harmful consequences of addiction to foreign language" (in "Proceedings of the Academy of Russia" 1840 - 1843), "The Christian church in the east of the XVIII century."
