Biography Al-Maghribi
(Abu Nasr al-Samav'al (Samuel) ibn Yahya ibn `Abbas al-Maghribi al-Andalusi) (ca. 1130 - ca. 1175) The son of a Jewish poet Yehuda ben Abun from Fez (Yahya ibn `Abbas al-Maghribi). Born in Baghdad, he worked in Iraq, Syria, Kurdistan and Azerbaijan. Recent years have lived in Maraga, where in 1163, Mr.. joined Islam. Among his works: "The Book of education in the science of the stars," "The Book of disclosure deficiencies astronomers and their mistakes in the majority of action and prediction". In Europe, was known as Samuel Moroccan.
