Biography DELON Thomas (Deloney Thomas)
(ca. 1543 - ca. 1600) Born in London. He wrote a ballad 'One Day', sometimes humorous, many of them lost. Delaunay, better known as the author of short stories noble profession (The Gentle Craft, ca. 1600; story formed the basis for the play festival shoemaker T. Dekker - The Shoemaker's Holiday), and cultural history of John Uinchkoma (The Pleasant History of John Winchcomb, date of writing unknown) and Thomas of Reading (Thomas of Reading, date unknown). In recent years, these works relating to the early stage of development of English prose have attracted attention of researchers of the novel.
