Biography BOGDANOVICH Alexander
stage name Vladimirov (22.H.1874, Smolensk - 6.IV.1950, Moscow) Honored Artist of the Republic (1925) B. graduated high school Smolensk (1891), Moscow University (Faculty of Medicine, 1900). Since 1897. studied singing at the L. Sobinova and I. Onnore. In 1904. improved in Milan. He sang in the Tiflis Opera, the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg People's House. From 1906 to 1936. - In the Moscow Bolshoi Theater. Had a rare beautiful voice, soft tone, a perfect master of vocal technique, singing Bole 45 operatic roles (the best: Lensky, Berend, Levko, Bayan, Finn, The Pretender, Dubrovsky, Nadir, Lohengrin, etc.). The first performer of a number of romances A. Grechaninov, Tcherepnin, Sergei Rachmaninov.
