Biography Nina Ananiashvili
Nina Ananiashvili was born in Tbilisi, Georgia. At age 10 she won the championship in figure skating, before entering the Tbilisi Choreographic School. She continued her training at the Bolshoi Ballet School under the guidance of renowned educator Natalia Zolotova. It was noted by American critics as "undisputed superstar of classical ballet."

. Nina Ananiashvili has four highest awards of the international ballet competitions:

. Gold Medal 10-second Ballet Competition in Varna (Bulgaria), 1980;

In 1981, Nina Ananiashvili was admitted to the Bolshoi Theater. She is now a prima ballerina with the Bolshoi.
