Kourion Scribonius, Guy; Curio Scribonius, Gaius, my father, I in. BC. e., Roman orator and politician. Consul in 76 g. BC. e. The author seems to deliberately fictitious, and really made speeches, which attacked Pompey and Caesar, and once and for Cicero. He wrote and pungent dialogue aimed against Caesar, and its action takes place in 59 g., and one of the actors is itself KS. Cicero impartially spoke about oratory KS, putting him in reproach lack of education and memory, but he also praised the correctness of language and rich vocabulary. All compositions KS. lost.
