Biography CYPRIAN (Cyprianus)
Cyprian, Cyprianus, beginning in V. AD, Cyprianus Latin epic poet. Born, probably in Gaul. Recreated (mostly in hexameter), the first 7 books of the Old Testament (the Pentateuch of Moses, the Book of Job, the Book of Judges). So he called his product Heptateuchos (Semiknizhie). Not preserved verse processing the remaining historical books. Semiknizhie has no more literary merit, sometimes attributed to Yuventsiyu, Cyprian of Carthage or other writers. His use of Christian poets.
