Hyperides (Hypereides)

Hyperides; Hypereides, 389-322 gg. BC. e., Greek orator and politician. Pupil Isocrates. Occurred from a wealthy Athenian family. He began his career as logograph (cm. Attic logographs). He defended hetaira Phryne the charge of impiety. Consecutive enemy of Macedonia, Mr.. initially cooperated with Demosfenom, which was later blamed on the process relating to the embezzlement of Harpalus and former treasurer of Alexander of Macedon.
