Biography NIKOM (Nikomachos)
Nicomachus; Nikomachos, II in. BC. e., Greek philosopher, neopifagoreets. Sobral in his works all the arithmetic knowledge of the Pythagoreans and neopifagoreytsev, for which he was nicknamed "the arithmetic of Euclid". Studied the theory and mysticism of numbers. One of the works of AN, Introduction to arithmetic (Eisagoge arithmetike), was translated into Latin, Apuleius, and then used by Boethius.
