Biography Phlegon (Phlegon)
Phlegon; Phlegon, from Thrall in Caria, II in. n. e., the Greek historian and paradoksograf. A freedman of Emperor Hadrian. Posted 16 books of the Olympic winners and Chronicle (Olimpionikon kai chronikon synagoge) - world history since the first Olympiad (776 g. BC. Oe), detailing most of her reign of Hadrian, and paying attention to the outstanding events. In a separate piece of miracles and longevity (Peri thaumasion kai makrobion) most places he took an ominous Greek and Roman history (eg, about vampires). Mediocrity, he, however, was quite popular with readers hungry wonders of the Middle Ages.
